Maxlegal.AI provides private, on-premise artificial intelligence solutions designed for immigration law firms. Our offerings include:

  • The Maxlegal.AI appliance (R30 Edge hardware device).
  • Pre-loaded legal AI models and software.
  • Software licenses (Basic, Professional, and Enterprise tiers).
  • Optional knowledge base updates and professional services.

The Website provides information about our products and services and allows you to request demonstrations.

3. Important Disclaimers

3.1 Not Legal Advice

Maxlegal.AI is a legal research and productivity tool. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for the professional judgment of a qualified attorney. All outputs generated by the Maxlegal.AI system must be reviewed, verified, and approved by a licensed legal professional before use in any legal proceeding or client communication.

3.2 AI Output Accuracy

While Maxlegal.AI is designed to produce accurate and relevant outputs, artificial intelligence systems may produce errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and legal sufficiency of all AI-generated content. Maxlegal does not guarantee the accuracy of any output produced by the system.

3.3 No Warranty of Outcomes

Use of Maxlegal.AI does not guarantee any particular legal outcome, including but not limited to USCIS approval of any petition, application, or request.

4. User Responsibilities

When using the Website or our services, you agree to:

5. Data Ownership

5.1 Your Data on the Appliance

You retain full, unconditional, and perpetual ownership of all data processed by or stored on the Maxlegal.AI appliance, including but not limited to:

  • All input data (prompts, documents, case materials).
  • All output data (AI responses, drafts, analyses).
  • All RAG knowledge base content.
  • All conversation histories and audit logs.
  • All flywheel training data (DPO preference pairs, SFT samples).

Maxlegal does not access, collect, use, or derive value from any data on your appliance. There are no provisions in our license terms granting us any rights to your data.

5.2 Information You Submit to the Website

Information you submit through the Website (such as demo request forms) is governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Website, its content, design, logos, trademarks, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Maxlegal, Inc. and/or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Website without our prior written consent.

6.2 Open Source Components

The Maxlegal.AI platform incorporates open-source software components, including language models licensed under the MIT License. The use of these components is governed by their respective open-source licenses.

7. Hardware and Software Licenses

The purchase and use of the Maxlegal.AI appliance and associated software licenses are governed by separate hardware purchase agreements and software license agreements provided at the time of purchase. These Terms govern only your use of the Website.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • THE WEBSITE AND ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED THEREIN ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
  • MAXLEGAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR OUR SERVICES.
  • MAXLEGAL'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MAXLEGAL IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maxlegal, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Website or violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party.

11. Modifications to Terms

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Maxlegal regarding your use of the Website. These Terms do not govern the purchase or use of Maxlegal.AI hardware or software products, which are subject to separate agreements.
