The Maxlegal.AI appliance operates on a zero-cloud architecture. This means:

  • All AI inference occurs locally on the device in your office.
  • No prompts, responses, documents, or usage data are transmitted to Maxlegal, Inc. or any third party.
  • No telemetry or usage analytics are collected from the device.
  • Model updates are only applied with your explicit consent.
  • The device functions identically whether connected to the internet or operating in air-gapped mode.

You retain full ownership and control over all data processed by the appliance, including all inputs, outputs, conversation histories, RAG knowledge base contents, and training data generated through the data flywheel.
